Neuse Reuse Closing Reception
Spearheaded by smART Artist Annelise Brady, Neuse Reuse features "trash-terpieces" made by local artists. Even if you've been to see this show already, the closing reception will also include NEW pieces made by the Lenoir Community College Sculpture students! Stop by and show your support.
All work contains trash collected during community cleanups or found materials. Join us at the smART Gallery (210 N. Queen St.) from 5-7PM to see the creative ways our local artists reused items that ranged from cardboard to fast food bags to can tabs to broken glass + more!
Printapalooza
Join us on Saturday, October 24th from 10-3PM for the first annual Printapalooza! A collaboration between Art 105, Community Council for the Arts and the smART Kinston Foundation, Printapalooza is an event celebrating all things print! This outdoor popup market in the shared parking lot of 400 N. Queen St. will feature local artists selling anything print-related. Fine art prints, screen prints, books, stickers, photography prints – Printapalooza promises an accessible way to support a wide range of local artists, and just in time to think about holiday shopping!
